AIA Citizen Architect is one of three key initiatives of the AIA Center for Civic Leadership. In our effort to train architects and emerging professionals towards becoming stronger firm and community leaders, we look to our network of practicing Citizen Architects as the premiere leaders of our field. Day to day, across our organization, hundreds of architects are stepping up to serve their communities. To recognize their work, the AIA is calling on members to join the Advocacy Network as Citizen Architects. Whether you are looking to make a difference in your local community or advance leadership across the spectrum of government, institutions, or neighborhoods, identifying as a Citizen Architect allows AIA to recognize your service through programs such as the citizen architect award, and to provide the tools you need to make the impact you desire.
