  1. I did not receive a confirmation or info about the event schedule or instructions.

    ANSWER: The attendee welcome email and pre-event materials will be emailed by Nov. 5. In the meantime please visit the website to check out the detailed schedule and location of each venue.

  2. I got a confirmation but the course is not showing up under “My Courses” on AIAU.

    ANSWER: Leadership Institute appear as a course on AIAU under “My Courses” after you have registered. You will have access to the Li18 Event Site. The Li Event Site will contain event materials and more.

  3. I’m trying to register but the member rate is not appearing in my cart.

    ANSWER: Members need to log-in to AIAU with the SAME account they use at  Otherwise the system will not recognize them as a member. If it’s still not working a member might have duplicate member numbers. Please contact AIAU customer support. Their contact information is listed below.

Please email your cancellation requests to no later than Friday, October 26, 2018 in order to receive a refund. A $25.00 cancellation fee will apply to all individual cancellations, and a $75 cancellation fee will apply to all virtual group registrations. Kindly understand that refunds will not be issued for cancellations received after Friday, October 26, 2018.

We believe leadership education should be accessible for all architects and emerging professionals alike. Therefore this new model from the AIA is both technology and member driven, with the core idea of bringing many together to participate in a shared learning experience. While leadership training is not new, the delivery of the content is, and will provide participants an unprecedented chance to connect across time zones through our national and regional venues. We will leverage technology to participate in a national discussion on leadership in architecture.
