Unable to join us in person? A live broadcast of the plenary sessions is available for those not located near one of our five venue options. Tune in live to participate in the discussion. Gather your office for a half day of professional development, or listen while you work. Register today to participate, and learn what you need to know about the digital set up requirements. You will need a computer with an internet connection. The broadcast will be hosted on Adobe Connect using your internet browser.

As an exclusive offer, all Leadership Institute registrants will receive a complimentary edition of AIA's newly updated leadership handbook, "Living Your Life As A Leader," a reference guide and workbook to support your personal leadership development. Virtual Attendees will receive a PDF, and local attendees at our Regional Venues will receive a physical copy.

The Center for Civic Leadership team has carefully updated this second edition to include new stories from AIA members in our "Legacy of Leadership" series, included throughout the workbook. Additional stories will be posted online throughout the year to continue to celebrate our diverse leaders and their stories of how leadership has been demonstrated in their careers. The workbook also includes new and expanded chapters on leadership, including "Leadership Transition and Development" and "Leadership Through Inclusion". The key chapter of the workbook, "Creating Your Own Leadership Plan" is a resource leaders can use throughout their life to assess, revisit, and update their leadership plan as their career takes shape. As part of the programming for the National Plenary, Michael Ayles, AIA will be presenting on this resource, reviewing the fundamentals of leadership and interviewing Past AIA President Mickey Jacob, FAIA about his personal leadership story.

As an added resource for 2015 AIA Leadership Institute, we have secured access for participants to take part in an optional Leadership Practices Inventory (LPI) through education distributor Wiley. This helpful tool is a way to assess your leadership skills, providing you a Self Report following a brief series of questions. This survey is recommended to make the most out of your AIA Leadership Institute experience at an additional price of $50.

Please see our Resources pages for more details on how you can sign up for this valuable leadership assessment tool.
